Eugene Donegan
Eugene Donegan is a singer/songwriter from Co Meath.Brought up on the music of Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson his songs reflect the honesty and direct approach of said artists.In 1998 he moved to Austrailia where he met Declan O Rourke.Together they both developed their own songwriting styles which resulted in the seven track "Donegan/O Rourke"recorded in a Sydney studio.Since returning to Ireland Eugene has played the Ruby Sessions,The International Bar and local north/east songwriting nights such as the Vigilantemusic Sessions(Navan),the Garden Room and A Bagfull of Songs(Drogheda) as well as supporting Declan O Rourke and Stewart Agnew on many occasions.He will be launching his debut album in 2007.
