Joy Booth
The musical partnership between Joy Booth & Lizzy Oakes began around the summer of 2005 in a beer garden in Navan. Regular covers gigs ensued but this eventually fizzled out and the girls parted gigging company.
Then, in 2008 a casual discussion took place over a beer, regarding the possibility of a reunion! The 2 got together for some jammin' and started working together on original material. The latter part of the year saw lots of gig-action, with shows not only in Navan, but also at well-known venues in Kells, Slane, Drogheda and Dublin.
More recently, 2 new editions to the line-up have added not only a bigger sound, but a different and more powerful dynamic to the music - these being Trevor and Ian Ludlow. Plans to record a demo are, albeit, LOOSELY in place for the coming weeks so stay tuned!!
