Simon Fagan has been writing and recording songs since the age of 13. With a classical training background of 15 yrs, it is clear that Fagan pushes the limits of his work both lyrically and musically. He has performed in main land Europe, uk , Ireland and most recently America. Simons 13 track debute album tittled 'Fake Smiles', was recorded at the Cauldron studio in Dublin and A&M studios Los Angeles. Recording started in Feb 07 and continued till April of that same year. Simon is currently in negotiations with various record companies. Tour dates will be announced here as soon as they are finalised. A dvd with live footage from the studio will also be here for download. It will include interviews with the artist, as well as live performances in the studio. Not to be missed people!!! His live shows have been described as, 'an untapped musical experience�, by those who have had the pleasure of witnessing it.

Bring The Dance is the brilliant new single from Irish singer songwriter Simon Fagan. It will be available to download from iTunes and all good download sites on 6th June through SiAn Records.

Simon recently had one of his songs chosen over Bob Dylan to close Hollywood movie A Line In The Sand out later this year, adding this to a live performance on Ryan Tubridy’s RTE Radio One show. Simon Fagan is a name to look out for!

Bring The Dance is a bright and cheery summer pop song that will have people bobbing their heads and singing along to its intoxicating hooks. Bongos and piano mixed with a a viberant brass section Simon Fagan and his band “The Bojangles” deliver an exciting blend of funk, soul, rock and pop.

Simon has been making friends in high places lately with supports to Lionel Richie at The Point theatre and Smokey Robinson in Vicar Street as well as a performance in the The National Concert Hall for the Beatles “Love” Concert, where he was invited to record in LA with composer/conductor Brian Byrne (Bono, The Coors, Van Morrison and Lisa Stansfield)

No newby to world of music with 5 years of secondary school spent on a music scholarship followed by a 2 year diploma at the Royal Irish Academy of Music before completing his degree at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow where he specialised in trumpet, piano and composition.
